"AlertUs" has a 4X12 inch REFLECTIVE strip sewn into the fabric to enable oncoming travelers to easily see your disabled vehicle up to 1500 meters(1 MILE) away at night to avoid accidents.
It consists of 3M Scotchlite Reflective Material - 8910 Silver Fabric is composed of wide angle, exposed retroreflective lenses bonded to a durable cloth backing (65% polyester 35% cotton).
The reflective fabric is the same fabric used on the uniforms of the Fire, Police Departments and DOT workers.
Physical Performance:
3M – 8910 silver fabric is certified to meet ANSI/ISEA 107-1999 level 2 retroreflective performance and EN 471 Class 2.
Care and Maintenance: · Machine Wash · Only non-chlorine bleach when needed · Tumble dry low · Medium iron · Dry-clean, normal cycle

Best Practices for most States... (vehicle safety)
Taillights: Vehicles and motorcycles must have at least one red light mounted on the rear. All other motor vehicles, trailers, and semi-trailers must have at least two red lights mounted on the left and right rear.
These taillights must be visible at least 500 feet to the rear.... whereas the AlertUs Flag (3M Reflective Fabric Strip) will illuminate up to 1500 meters (1 MILE)!!
